Johnny's Bio

Johnny Robish is a joke/humor writer and a former stand-up comic and disk jockey who lives in Hawaii. Johnny currently has a weekly humor column which appears in Kauai's main newspaper, "The Garden Island."

Johnny is the product of a very difficult childhood as he was raised by wolves...and they were divorced. You can imagine the abandonment issues that arise from that! Many doctors and research scientists now believe that if Johnny continues with his current medication, he may never have to kill again. All we can do is hope.

As a child, Johnny was one of those who didn't listen and ate the yellow snow. A gifted high school athlete, Johnny played football and his sophomore year was named "offensive player of the year." By his junior year, the cheerleaders had named Johnny "the most offensive played of the year."

A favorite at comedy clubs throughout the Western United States, Johnny's humor has been published in such diverse venues as the LA Times "Laugh Lines" column, Kauai's Garden Island newspaper's "Kauai Komedy" column, trade publications, dozens of commercial newsletters, medical journals and humor magazines.

Be sure to check out Johnny's humor at varying comedy sites throughout the internet such as Peter Bergman's "Radio Free Oz" which also features TV's John Goodman, Edie McClurg and Paul Krassner. Johnny has also written for comics such as Taylor Negron, Mel Kohl, Marti Schauer and Jere Evans.
